They have produced violence that has been inscribed and transmitted both in the unconscious and in the collective memory, that generated a crisis of confidence and legitimacy in relation to the others and also towards institutions. The proposal of the social critical theory of time to think the technical acceleration and the speeding up of the social changes \u2013 in family structures, political and religious affiliations \u2013 proof that the turbulences of the world have subjective incidences and effects on the psychic functions.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This is reflected in the way we work with groups, couples and families and the care teams in institutions. The IACFP urgently wishes to address the impact of these factors; social; cultural and political on psychic suffering as well as the psyche functions; and to confront them with the concepts and tools of couple and family psychoanalysis and the sufferings of hypermodernity.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Our contemporary condition, due to the great socio-political, economic, geographical and media mutations, has shaken our certainties and the secure borders in the subjective boundaries, marked by disordered and uncertain links. We must add, now, to these immense stressors the current pandemic &#8211; of Covid 19 &#8211; situation and the climatic upheavals that reveal, besides the fragility of human life, intense problems of social inequality.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We are facing a new historical era, that requires the opportunity to reflect on the impact of cultural, institutional, socio-political and intersubjective conditions of psychic life, and think about the logics inscribed in the intersubjective and institutional contracts.<\/p>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 4\">\n<div class=\"section\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p>The psychoanalytical practice has been strongly transformed these last decades, due to the psychic suffering and the access to the knowledge of the unconscious, that has shown that the psychic reality relies on the links and the objects of culture: these are the metapsychic supports that reveal the importance of the extra-subjective symbolic functions and the symbolic dimension of a culture How the socio-cultural malaise affects the couple, the individual and the family&#8217;s structure and functioning? It is also necessary to take into consideration the public and institutional dimension to understand the new and more precarious situations of families.<\/p>\n<p>The IACFP Congress 2022 proposes to explore the theoretical-epistemological and clinical practice challenges that arise in the couple and family psychoanalytic clinic.
